Using the egg tempera painting, I created a score for six performers and two musicians, to create a moving painting.
Dice and concepts of chance were used to develop the score and to create the framework in which the performers moved. The musical component includes a violin, clave sticks and a bell. The performers each have their own set of rules with which they react to in relation to the sounds they hear.
